The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it is alarmed concerning the significant number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a large variety of clients/beneficiaries to click here access SASSA services.

“This really is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The services stage designed for intervention experiences a higher influx of potential beneficiaries, which makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to permit the servicing of all consumers and improve access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
